Memoir, ca. 1956.

A 15-page typewritten paper for the Portfolio Club, an Indianapolis art club. The paper discusses Selby's experience looking for, and finding, Cedar Farm, where her parents met on a painting trip. The farm is on the Ohio River in Harrison County, Ind., near Laconia and across the river from Brandenburg, Ky. Selby describes driving around Meade County, Ky. and Harrison County, Ind., looking for the isolated farm. Selby also describes the house, which was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and talks about the Kinter family who built the farm in 1837.
